[ARCHIVED] Team Rubicon plans to come to Moab to help with the cleanup effort

Mill Creek - for news release

City and county property owners who need help with clearing debris left by the Aug. 20 Mill Creek flood are encouraged to request assistance from the volunteer group Team Rubicon. The veteran-led disaster response organization will head to Moab soon to provide labor and equipment in the effort to help local residents clear their properties of flood debris. Team-Rubicon-logo

To speed up the process, property owners are asked to complete a right-of-entry form in advance of Team Rubicon’s arrival in Grand County. This form is required and gives Team Rubicon permission to be present on the property to perform the cleanup assistance work.

Forms can be downloaded from the City of Moab website at www.moabcity.org/flood. Forms are also available at the Moab City Planning Department office, 217 E. Center Street, and at the Grand County Commission Office, 125 E. Center. Completed forms can be emailed to flood@moabcity.org or delivered to the Grand County Commission Office.

For more information contact Moab City Building Inspector Barry Ellison at 435-259-5129, bellison@moabcity.org; or Grand County Commission Coordinator Alishia Oliver at 435-259-1342, aoliver@grandcountyutah.net
