[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Restrictions on Use of City Parks and Trails

To protect the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Moab has instituted the following restrictions for the use of city-owned public parks and trails:

  • Do not use parks or trails if you are exhibiting symptoms.
  • All restrooms and drinking fountains are closed.
  • Make arrangements to use other restrooms before using the trail or park.
  • Follow the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidance on personal hygiene prior to visiting the parks or trails.
  • Observe CDC’s minimum recommended social distancing of 6 feet from other persons at all times.
  • Share the trail and warn other trail users of your presence as you pass.

Additionally:

  • All playground equipment is closed.
  • Team sports and pickup games are prohibited.
  • Gatherings should be limited to fewer than 10 people.

Please observe these regulations for the duration of the COVID-19 situation.
