The latest information the City of Moab has received from UDOT indicates that the North U.S. 191 Widening Project could begin as early as Feb. 24. however, the project may be delayed by a week or two. We do not have any additional details at this time but we will post regular updates from UDOT as they are available.
The work is expected to take at least 12 to 14 months and will directly impact North Main Street businesses located between the Colorado River Bridge and 400 North over the course of the construction work. Local residents as well as visitors will also experience impacts during the project.
UDOT has said that one travel lane in each direction will remain open during construction.
