Ballots have been mailed for the City of Moab's primary election on Aug. 13. Three Moab City Council seats are up for election and 10 candidates are vying for a spot on the Nov. 5 General Election ballot. Registered voters who did not receive a ballot in the mail should contact the Grand County Clerk's Office at 435-259-1321.
Completed ballots must be postmarked no later than Monday, Aug. 12. Voters may also hand-deliver their ballots to either the Moab City Recorder's Office, 217 E. Center Street, or the Grand County Clerk's Office, 125 E. Center St., in person between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through April 12 and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Voters may vote for up to three candidates on the primary ballot. The six candidates who receive the most votes will compete in the General Election.
The last day to request a mail-in ballot and to register to vote in the primary is Tuesday, Aug. 6. Online voter registration is available at https://vote.utah.gov.
