Structure
The administrative department comprises the City Manager and an Administrative Secretary..  

Responsibilities
This department is responsible for personnel functions of the city, the preparation and administration of the city's annual budget, coordination among all city departments on a wide variety of issues, coordination with outside agencies, and daily public relations activities. City Manager

The City Manager manages the day-to-day operations and internal affairs of the city and develops policies, procedures, and processes to implement the decisions of the City Council. The City Manager also advises the Mayor and City Council on policy issues and is the primary contract negotiator for all agreements and property-related transactions for the city. The City Manager coordinates all legal issues with the City Attorney. The City Manager also serves as personnel director and maintains a positive and effective work environment for 60 regular and 30 seasonal employees.

Administrative Secretary
The administrative secretary is the first contact for the public as they enter City Hall. This key position handles phone inquiries of all varieties.
